Plant-X Bio-SB is a “Plant Extract Tea”. Rather than using compost or animal wastes, Bio-Gro
has taken live plants and specific plant parts and “steeped” them in various media solutions. Plant-X Bio-SB is an extract from wild plants that grow in the arid regions of the Western USA. Bio-SB contains bio-factors, or biologically produced compounds, found naturally in the soil rhizosphere produced by the plants and micro-organisms. Bio-SB contains specific bio-flavonoids, making Bio-SB a source of positive, impactful, biological activity.

Overview: Plant-X Bio-SB is an extract from wild plants that grow in the arid
regions of the Western USA. Bio-SB contains bio-factors, or biologically produced compounds, found naturally in the soil rhizosphere produced by the plants and micro-organisms. Bio-SB contains specific bio-flavonoids, making Bio-SB a source of positive, impactful, biological activity.
Benefits: Positive soil microbiology comes within the growth cycle of plants – roots, leaves, flowers and seeds – so we harvest these live plant tissues to ensure the greatest impact of biological activity in Bio-SB. This extract is brewed in a proprietary growth media and produced in three forms: Bio-SB, Bio-SB LT and Bio-SB CYT. Bio-SB promotes healthy root systems and strong plants. BioGro’s Plant-X line helps to populates the plant’s rhizosphere with positive microbes. Bio SB is a best practice tool, and is used in non-fumigation fields, but always used in conjunction with other best practice measures.
Use Rate
Optimum rate of application will vary between fields depending on soil and/or climatic conditions, stage of crop growth and size of plants. The best timing is at planting or when a root flush is occurring. Consult your Bio-Gro dealer for specific recommendations.
All Field & Vegetable Crops – Apply 1-5 gallons per acre at planting. Water run 1-5 gallons per acre during germination. Water run 1-5 gallons per acre with applied fertilizers during growing season. Apply 2-5 gallons per acre in spring and fall during root flush.
Head Lettuce – Apply no more than 1/2 gallon per acre prior to rosette stage.
